You can clean using a bit of soap and water and a light brush, as needed, with a good rinsing afterwards.? For winter maintenance we highly recommend to remove the bowl (or top of the bird bath) and place upside down on the ground beside to prevent ice build up in the bowl which will crack and alter the finish of the piece.? For a 1-piece bird bath, just tip the entire piece on its side.
